My body.

getting undressed
in the mirror
I do not
like what I see.
I am getting old.
43 seems so young.
But the body
does not
agree with me.
things hang
move, adjust.
I exercise daily
and watch what
I eat.
But sometimes
this body
just does not
do what I
want it to do.
It knows what
it wants to do.
It wants to relax.
sleep.
give me a cushion
just in case
I fall.
It wants to protect
me.
But , on a woman
on me.
it makes me
squint me eyes.
As i squint my
eyes...I look
at myself..
there I look
better.
well I better
find a man
with bad eyes.
They certainly
do not care
if you have
a heart
or not.
