Everyday.

Looking to 

Be healed.

Is the house 

Where my best

Friend and 

Her husband 

Loved me.

Right here is 

The road that

Gave me 

Freedom

And the same one

That took 

It away.

Here is the house

That saved me

And let me start

To rebuild myself.  

Right here in

This field 

I kissed the wrong 

Guy

And right here

Was the place 

I laughed and 

Danced at the 70s

Dance.

Right here is where

For the first 

Time I met a man

Did not sleep 

With him

And he became 

My friend.  

My first man friend.  

And right here

Is where I realized

Life was not

The way I thought 

It would be.  

As I drive all

The good and bad

Memories are here.  

I love all of them.

It shaped me 

Into

A woman.  

I was a girl

Before

Naive to 

The 

Real world.  

As I got out

Of my car and 

Walked to 

Farmers market

I know you 

Live right around 

The corner. 

I know you love me.

Eating a peach 

And letting the 

Juice run 

Down my face

I feel the peace.  

It took awhile.

For me 

To forgive myself. 

I had to save me

And to do that 

I had to start 

All over. 

The memories

Here are so 

Powerful. 

I forgive myself

I was worth 

Saving.

I am somewhat 

Different 

But at 

The core 

I am still

The same 

Just calmer..

I will always
