Sleeping In

You know when you
have slept in.
Your body feels
so heavy. The Sleep
so deep. Was I dreaming?
The Sun Peeping
through the shades
is your alarm clock.
Are you getting up?
The sun is asking
you.
You roll over
putting the covers over
your head.
Not yet. I am not
ready. If I lay here
 and hide from
the Sunshine, Its like
I am still asleep.
Do not open your
eyes. But you feel the need
to just open up a little lid.
Peeping out, eyes lock unto
yours. That is it your caught.
You see the tail wag across
the room and then comes
the soft whimper.
Well...now you
have to get up.
The dog has to pee.
Up I go and out with
my pup.
The sun smiling on my
face.
It does feel so good
standing in the sunshine.
As I start to walk
into the house, The sun speaks
to me....
Get Moving Girl..Its
time to make the Donuts.
Damn. I guess its
time to go to work.
