Getting Dresssed Young

This morning
getting dressed
I look in the mirror
and I see my
mother.
I have seen her
before.
But I try to ignore
it.
she should not
be in my reflection.
Not yet.
I am trying to
dress and not
look like my
mom.
Its difficult.
She is still
in the mirror.
Never try
to dress young
when you get
old my mom
used to say.
It just makes
you look old.
I smile.
Just get dressed
and look like
your mom..
You have no
choice.
off I go.
