I left work
today.
Everyone
assumed I had
a date.
NO.
I just wanted
to leave.
as I walked out
of work early
the sun started
to peak out.
I get into
my jeep and
hit the sunroof.
As i am driving
down the road
the windows
open.
The tunes cranked.
I am happy.
The space I put
between my job
and me
at this moment
gives me peace.
I feel the
stress falling
away as each
mile goes by.
The sun is getting
so strong
the clouds
lifting
the rain gone.
I feel so good.
