I look like
a potato.
So fat I was.
So unhappy I was.
at times.
Other times
happy.
I look at my wedding
pictures my hair
way to big, my dress
way to big.
Your smile way to big.
I look at pictures
of family
and friends.
Life.
My old Life.
At times I can not
believe
I lived this life.
Three story home.
2 car garage, Parties
every weekend.
Excess.
Showing off,
making people think
we were so happy.
were we? ever?
When I left I took
a handful of pictures
and left the rest.
You burned them.
As I get older
I forget, was I that
unhappy?
when I look at the
old photos I can
see it in my eyes...
lost.
So I will keep those
pictures of my
old life, to
remind me of
my new life.
How my new life
should be
honest and happy
and simple.
