Its so Hot

I like heat
but I do not
like the humidity,
and today
it is humid.
The heat makes
me want nothing
No food.
No lover.
Its too hot for
that.
All I want is
a cool building
with Ice cold water
with a little lemon.
To sit
and be cool.
Its the one
time I am not
craving anything.
It is almost like
I am purging my
body of
bad choices.
The heat makes
things simple.
I need nothing
but stillness.
Maybe I should
move to Arizona?
I would stay
out of trouble.
Nope..A little heat
is nice, but when it
gets cooler
I will be ready
for some bad choices
again.
