You stopped by
my Job last night.
You have started
a new chapter
in your life.
I used to be
your boss
years ago.
We hug,
and squeal..
How are you?
we both say
at the same time.
Laugh, and
all the memories
come flooding back.
How is your
new job?
I ask.
You are so happy
and I can see it.
It makes me happy
to see how much
you have grown
as a person
as a professional,
I think to myself.
You stand staring
at me and start to
speak..
I wanted to stop
by and tell you
something in
person, you say.
OK, i say smiling.
Tears form in
your eyes and I
think to myself,

what is wrong.
Today At my
job I was so
happy, I have
not been happy
in years.
I said to myself
I remember
this Feeling.
It is when I
worked for you.
You made me
feel, so smart.
So right.
I loved coming
to work , just
to see what
you would
say or teach
me.
I started to see,
you get upset.

very hard to get
to where you are.

And I wanted
you to know

inspired me

with customers
and quickly
hug you and
you are gone.
I go back into
the stockroom
to get something
for a customer.
I start to cry.
I quickly wipe
my tears.

That I touched
someone like
that.
I have many Mentors.
I know how that feels
to Respect someone
to want to have their
values, their talents.
I had no idea,
I was someones Mentor.
I felt so proud.
Wiping my tears,
My heart touched..
