Taking a piece of my body

Some say it
natural.
some say
its normal.
Not me.
After
the medication
fades..I start
to feel the
dull ache.
Something
was taken
out of my
body.
Yes it needed
to go.
It was causing
problems.
On some level
it seems
weird
that someone
would go inside
me and take
a piece of
me out.
As I wake
up I am
feeling normal.
Am I?
I get up
and look
in the mirror.
Normal..
That remains
to be seen.
I am getting
better.
Even with
a piece of
me missing.
