I hear you
at night
whispering
to me.
I have been
listening to
you for a long
time.
As I get older
you get louder.
I used to think
this voice was
me.
It is not.
It is you.
I sleep with
your watch under
my pillow and
done it,
since I was 12.
It used to tick
so loud that it
sounded like
your heart.
The battery soon
died.
And I replaced it
but it never sounded
the same again.
I took the battery
out and then
i started to hear your
heart beat again.

in my ear two

Sometimes
I can hear you.
I put my head down
on my pillow and
your watch
keeps your
