I look down
at a moment
today and
I received 7
text messages.
Not one of them
asked
how i was.
Not one of
them said I
am thinking
about you.
Not one asked
me to go
to the movies.
They all
said..
You are so sexy.
I love your lips
on me.
I was reading them
while in the
line at
the grocery
store.
The lady in front
of me was reading
her phone
and texting.
She laughed looking
at me.
Technology , she said
and smiled.
My husband just
texted me and told
me he loved me.
she says. He wants
me to pick up bacon.
I wont, it gives him
heartburn..
she laughs.
she looks at me
as if I should
share.
I smile.
Mine is from
my boyfriend.
I lie.
It says..hope you
are good. I was
just thinking
about you.
She smiles.
That is so sweet.
she says.
I look down at
all my text messages
and delete them.
