The Fresh start

It happens
one day.
The Fresh
start.
The Clean
getaway.
It could
be from
a lover.
It could
be from
a job
or a life
experience.
but at one time
or another
we all wish for
it.
want it.
Long for it.
Watching
others get
their Getaway
you stand on
the sidelines
wanting
your turn.
When is my
chance?
This morning
as I start my
day.
I sit grateful
for all I have.
But I have
been on the
sidelines
for awhile
waiting
for my Getaway.
The warm
coffee flows
down my
throat and
I realize.
I can
start my
Getaway today.
I can also
have a
Fresh Start.
I just have
to take that
first step.
So here it
