The sunlight on the grass

getting up
this morning
the sun
gently
coming up over the valley.
The cows
moo..
walking slowly
eating their
grass.
The green
is like
a royal carpet
that has been
layed down
for me to
walk on.
What have
I done to
deserve this.
This simple gift.
As i walk around
with my dog this
morning even
he is grateful.
he looks up
at me and
smiles
a dog smile.
Very happy
and blessed.
The birds
are singing
and i feel
like I am
in a Walt Disney
cartoon.
Its just to
perfect.
I look back
one more
time at the
sunlight
on the grass.
and I say
out loud,
Thank you.
