A new scarf in
A department
Store. I always
Buy black or
Tan.
It's spring.
I should by
A spring colors
But I feel you
Have to be a girly
Girl to wear pastels
Sweet.
A lady wears bold
Like red.
When you are trying
To blend
You wear black
Or tan.
I look at a lot of
Scarves,
Trying
Them in a mirror.
I find a couple I
Like. Different
Then I would
Wear.
A man is next to me
Looking at scarves
For a gift
For his mother.
I try on a few
More , I
Grab a pink
Plaid and put it
On my neck.
The man looks
At me and
Says
You should
Get it,
Pink is your
Color.
I smile and get
It.
Sometimes people
See you, even strangers.
It's
Nice
To
Be seen
As sweet.
