My eyes

are looking

at all the colors.

What does

the future

look like?

Walking around

with my eyes

open

I am looking

and touching

all the fabrics

and tiles.

I hear your voice

in the background.

As I walk

further

from

you,

Your voice

sounds like a

whisper.

Feeling all the

carpet

I feel so good.

The thought of

my new life

feels so safe.

I have never

felt safe.

I walk around

and a woman

asks me

if I need help.

I respond 

no thank you.

I start to walk

back toward

you and 

I say softly,

Just feeling

the future...

As I see your

face around the

corner of carpet,

and tile,

I am smiling so

big.

Our future feels

so good.
