You might not see this

Sometimes
You might
not see it.
You might not
even feel it.
But it will always
be there.
That tension.
I am getting
better with it.
I understand
why.
I was in this
place once a
long time ago.
A little girl
trying to be
a woman.
I didn't really
get to be a
woman until
I left my husband.
So when
she looks at me,
You might not
see it
or feel it.
But I do.
Its about
being loyal.
Its disappointment.
Its displacement.
resentment.
You might
not see this.
And that is
alright.
But I do.
I see it.
I feel it.
And at times
this energy is
hard.
There is no judgement.
No words.
Nothing that
can be done.
Just know it.
See it
Feel it.
And
Thank me.
This might be
the hardest thing
I have to deal
with.
You may never
see it.
Never feel it.
But the trade off
is I get to for
the rest of my life.
