Peace, Love and Hope Tea

The hurt
was unbearable.
I did not
think
it would
be.
I actually
never
gave
it much thought.
Until this
moment.
I waited
at the bottom
of the stairs
thinking that
we felt
the same
way about
each other.
But I
got the message
and quietly
closed the front
door shut.
I left feeling
this deep
pain in my heart.
I remember this
feeling of loving
and not being
loved the same
way.
I gasped
for air
and all
that came
was a deep
flow of pain
washed
down with tears.
Driving,
I could no
longer see
so I pulled over
to get some Tea.
As I walked
into the shop
I ordered
a tea.
When asked which
one
I could not speak
I was handed hot
water and a tea bag
and
I left the store.
As I got
in my car
I started
crying again.
The hurt
was here.
I looked at
the tea bag and
saw the flavor
of tea.
Peace, Love and Hope.
And I realized
thats all I could
ask for
when it
comes to
us.
But for
right now,
in this moment
I have to protect
my heart so I
will have to close
the door a little.
The Peace and Love
are the easy part.
The Hope is
on you.
