My Purpose is us.
As I
take my
invisible
walk
I let the breeze
tickle
under
my hands.
If I let
it
If I wanted
it could take
me and lift
me off the ground.
I follow
the red
fallen
leaves,
like a path a
lover would leave
in rose petals
and it makes
me smile.
I see some
children
ahead
running and
playing.
I remember
that freedom
innocence
and energy
and pine
for it.
As the sun
starts to set
and the darkness
overtakes
the last sliver
of light
I realize
I am running
out of time.
Stopping,
I just
stand.
I think of
you and am
reminded
why I am so
worried.
Now I
have purpose.
My Purpose
is us.
