This Moment
You have been
looking your whole
life for the perfect
place.
The perfect
job.
The perfect
relationship.
The perfect
home.
Car.
Body.
Everything
will line up
with all your
hard work
to get to that
perfect place in
life.
But you
are wrong.
Its not a place
you should
have been
looking
for, its a
moment.
Nobody can
tell you how
to get to
that moment.
You just
arrive
and
when you
get there
nothing will
be the same.
You will hear
the wind and birds
more clearly.
You will look
at your body
with acceptance.
The voice of
doubt,
gone.
The need to
please has been
erased.
You have
been looking your
whole life
and here it is.
The
absence
of fear.
It floats away
like a little
balloon let
go by a
child.
Even if
you wanted
it back
you can't have it.
Your Mortality
whispers to
you,
"let it go."
And you do.
You are in
the moment
and there is
no going back
only
forward.
And you cry
not because you
are sad,
because you are
relieved
to have
arrived.
Arrived
at this
moment.
