A Moment Called Right Now
Footsteps
on the ground
marching
to the steps
of life.
I have
done
this forever,
and the questions
I should
have had as a
young child
I could not
think about.
I was surviving.
I was too
busy hiding
from
violence
and looking
for holes
in fences
to escape.
But now
as I grow in
my 50s.
I have
all these
questions
and as
I ask
them
I realize
it does not
matter.
Every
moment
is just that
a moment.
And I
no longer
need answers.
All I need
is to be here
in this moment
called
right now.
