I let

go and

just

float 

away in my

dance.

Its all I can 

give to you 

as this year

closes

out. 

This dance is

to thank

you

for 

getting 

me to this place. 

I let my

tears

remind

me of the days

I could

not pick

up my

feet.

The days

I hated myself

for doing

nothing.

The days

of allowing

others

to own

me.

But as I dance

the tears

will dry

up.

I start to smile

because I have

learned so 

much this

year.

I no longer

have to wait 

on anyone.

Wait to be seen.

I see who 

I have become

everyday

and as

I end

the dance.

I make

sure to look

at myself in 

the mirror.

I no longer

need to be seen.

I am seen

and I 

was saved.
