Tonight We Smile

 I am having 

a moment

of weakness.

It comes

on quickly.

I could

take

the easy

way out

and take

these

passing

thoughts

and let 

the wind

carry me

wherever.

I could

be responsible

and not

give in.

Not take

this moment. 

But

I need to make

that connection. 

So I let the 

weakness

come

over me

and I 

march

downstairs

and look

into your eyes.

I let 

the weakness take

us over.

Tomorrow

will be another

day.
